Event to help 9/11 first responders in jeopardy? Video

Changing their tune! Earlier this week we reported that the charity stair climb honoring 9/11 first responders was cancelled at One World Trade Center. This morning on FOX & Friends, Frank Siller, chairman of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation nonprofit behind the climb told us he’s hopeful the race will carry on.

Durst Organization allegedly cancelled the climb out of fear it would turn off potential tenants by reminding them of the terrorist attacks.

Tunnel to Towers hosts a walk/run every year to commemorate the fallen heroes of 9/11. Last year was the premiere for the stair climb following the opening of 1 WTC. Funds raised from the climb are used to build hi-tech homes for amputee war veterans.
