A new advertisement from Audi portrays Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto as competitive friends who apparently live to one-up each other.
After being defeated by the elder Vulcan in a game of online chess, Quinto challenges him to a round of golf, but not before they race to the club. Loser pays for lunch.
Hipper, cooler Quinto smoothly hops into an Audi S7 while Nimoy struggles to get going in his Mercedes-Benz CLS 550. Of course, the spot fails to point out that the Mazda 6 is the official advertising partner of "Star trek: Into Darkness," but it doesn't specifically mention Star Trek, either.
Who wins? Even though the commercial is for the Audi, you might be shocked to see who the victor is.
Apparently you can live long and prosper.
