Is there an award for convertible truck of the year?

Images of a drop-top version of North America’s Truck of the Year, the Range Rover Evoque, have been leaked onto the internet ahead of the concept’s reported debut at next week’s Geneva Motor Show.

Picked up by the website ZerCustoms.com, the photos show a straightforward conversion of the stylish AWD two-door CUV, which loses its striking glass-panel roof, but retains its rear bucket seats.

If it enters production, the topless Evoque would double the number of offerings in the convertible crossover segment, which currently has just one entry; the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet.
