Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos says two additional journalists are missing in a lawless part of the country where security forces are already hunting for a Spanish journalist.

Santos said Tuesday two journalists from right-leaning RCN network are unaccounted for and are being sought.

Officials already have been seeking Salud Hernandez-Mora, a longtime correspondent for Spain's El Mundo newspaper. She hasn't been seen or heard from since Saturday, when she took a motorcycle to an unknown destination in the Catatumbo region dominated by leftist rebels and drug traffickers.

Authorities say that a group of a half-dozen journalists who traveled to the volatile region to cover the search were stopped and had their equipment seized by an illegal armed group, which it did not specify.
