A former southwestern Pennsylvania school board member and church official has been ordered to stand trial on charges he had inappropriate contact with at least three boys at his church and other locations since 2007.

Fifty-six-year-old Brian Eppley waived his right to a preliminary hearing Monday on the third set of charges he faces.

Police say Eppley was a Conemaugh Township school board member and deacon at the Maple Spring Church of the Brethren in Jerome when he had contact with the boys more than 75 times. He's since resigned from both positions.

Investigators say Eppley, of Davidsville, Somerset County, would have the boys remove their shoes and put his feet in Eppley's face.

Eppley's defense attorney could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday.
