A woman in Iowa who streamed video live on Facebook showing her berating police in a cafe last week got a calm reaction from the officers, but critics called it "vulgar," "narcissistic" and full of hatred.

Melyssa Jo Kelly streamed the video from the cafe in Cedar Rapids on Nov. 6 -- just days after investigators said a gunman shot and killed 24-year-old Urbandale Officer Justin Martin and 38-year-old Des Moines police Sgt. Anthony Beminio in the Des Moines area.
The officers in the video displayed black bands over their badges in remembrance of the fallen policemen.
After Kelly was heard taunting the police for several minutes, an officer approached her and asked her to leave, saying the cafe had requested it. The woman initially refused, calling it "unjust discrimination." One officer called Kelly's behavior "childish."
"Don’t pretend like you serve and protect, you bi---... out of my way, popo," Kelly said in the video.
She also claimed she had a disability, without elaborating. Kelly previously faced charges including disorderly conduct and trespassing, The Des Moines Register reported.
“She had made people uncomfortable to a certain degree because she’s very outspoken," Brewhemia coffee shop manager Brad Danielson told the newspaper. "She's been known to use harsh language in the past like it's normal."
