An 82-year-old widower in Germany found his lost wedding band wrapped around a carrot he harvested from his garden last week, WDR reported.
The man, whose wife died about six months ago, said the ring fell into the dirt while he was working in the garden of his Bad Muenstereifel shortly after the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
He said he his wife assured him he would get the ring back.
