LAS VEGAS – Police say a 4-year-old Las Vegas boy is dead after his father restrained him and his mother with zip ties and stabbed them both repeatedly before killing himself.
Las Vegas police say the rampage started after the man forced his way into his estranged girlfriend's home Wednesday night.
Police say the suspect was found dead in a bathroom with self-inflicted stab wounds.
Police Lt. Dan McGrath says the child's grandmother was in the home and drove the victims to the hospital where the boy died. The grandmother wasn't injured.
McGrath calls the deaths an inexplicable tragedy.
Police say there had been one previous domestic violence call at the house in 2015.
The names of those involved were not immediately released.
