A woman has pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the killing of a 69-year-old West Virginia pastor.

The Register-Herald reports 21-year-old Camille Iman Browne entered the plea Tuesday. She also pleaded guilty to burglarizing several homes.

Prosecutors say Browne broke into Ronald Lee Browning's home in Beckley in February 2015 and bludgeoned him to death. Browne allegedly told police she hit Browning over the head with a glass vase full of coins and kicked him in the stomach.

Browning was a U.S. Army Veteran and pastor of Cool Ridge Church.

Browne's attorney has said the slaying resulted from a "substance-induced psychotic" reaction after Browne smoked marijuana the night before.

Browne faces 10 to 40 years for second-degree murder and one to 15 years for each burglary charge.
