PERKASIE, Pa. – A lawyer for a Pennsylvania man accused of raping an 8-year-old boy at parties for people dressed in animal costumes says the accusations are simply a money grab.
A district court ruled Monday that the case against 57-year-old Kenneth Fenske, of Quakertown, will proceed to trial.
Fenske is accused of repeatedly abusing the boy at "furry" parties in Bucks County beginning in 2009. The boy says he was forced to dress as "Tony the Tiger" and Fenske sometimes wore a full-body fox costume.
Fenske's attorney says his client is innocent and the charges are an attempt to profit off his wealth.
Four other men in Pennsylvania and Virginia have been charged with abusing the boy. They have not entered pleas.
