The body of a New Tampa, Florida, teenager was found in a park Friday morning, more than a week after she was reported missing.

Hailey Acierno's body was found in the woods in Flatwoods Park, about two miles from her home. She was known to spend time in the park, Fox 13 reported.

Investigators do not suspect foul play and believe it was possibly a suicide.

The 17-year-old was reported missing on March 28. She was last seen in the Arbor Greene neighborhood, according to Fox 13.

Her family pleaded on social media for the public's help in find her.

Authorities closed the park to the public Thursday as several law enforcement agencies joined the search for Acierno. Police confirmed they found her body just hours after they started the search on Friday.
