The brother of Pennsylvania twins who child welfare caseworkers haven't been able to locate for 10 years has been charged with lying to police by pretending to be one of them.

Penn Hills police say 18-year-old Datwon (DAY'-twahn) Fowler sent them a phony Facebook message claiming to be his brother, Ivon, who's believed to be about 17 now. They say he included a phone number so they could supposedly speak with the boy.

Police texted the number, but traced it to Penn Hills, not Georgia, where Fowler and his mother, Patricia, have told police Ivon and his twin sister Inisha now live with a family friend.

Police say that's not true, and that the Fowlers have told several lies about the twins.

Datwon Fowler is jailed. Neither he nor his mother has an attorney.
