An official says a car rolled out of a parking lot and onto a beach at an Alabama state park, striking both women and pinning one underneath.

Park manager Chad Davis is quoted by Al.com (http://bit.ly/24hOPBc) as saying that the women were struck on Monday. The news outlet says several men lifted the car to extract the woman who had been pinned.

Both women were treated at area hospitals for injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.

First Baptist Church of Ardmore identified the women on its Facebook page and said that one of them has burns on her back, along with a lacerated liver, broken ribs and some internal bleeding.
