Warrant: Texas teen found with womb and uterus removed

An arrest warrant says a mentally disabled Texas teenager who told a school worker she had been impregnated by her stepfather was found with her uterus removed when authorities discovered her body in her family's partially burned home earlier this year.

The details were revealed in an arrest warrant for the mother, who's charged with aggravated sexual assault of a disabled person.

No one has been charged in the death of the 18-year-old from Idalou. The teenager's stepfather is being held on three counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child.

The arrest warrant alleges the mother knew her husband was abusing the 18-year-old and a younger girl. The mother doesn't yet face charges related to her younger daughter.

The Associated Press isn't naming the family members because that could reveal the identity of the surviving sex assault victim.
