Planned Parenthood says it will reopen its clinic in Pullman, Washington, six months after the facility was damaged by arson.

The group said Wednesday that its renovated health center is to reopen to patients Feb. 1 at its same location. A community celebration is planned on Feb. 5.

Renovations at the facility were extensive. Crew installed new walls, ceilings, carpeting and fixtures. The clinic also received significant security upgrades, including cameras and exterior lighting.

Police investigators have said someone threw a flammable object through the window in the early morning hours of Sept. 4, causing a fire.

The center serves about 3,000 patients in the region.
