Police are looking for a handful of suspects following a bank robbery, a carjacking and a shooting near a recreation center in suburban Denver.

Lakewood police spokesman Steve Davis says investigators are looking Wednesday for three or four suspects near the Sheridan Recreation Center south of Denver. The suspects are believed to be on foot, some leaving a trail of money from the robbery.

The Denver Post reports that the suspects, one of whom was arrested, led police on a chase after robbing a Lakewood bank. They then ditched their car and shot a man during a carjacking. Another person was shot near the recreation center after the chase.

The victims' injuries were not life-threatening.

Schools and the municipal building in Sheridan, which is near Lakewood, are on lockdown.
