Police find 3 bodies, other remains in south suburban Chicago garage, investigation underway

RIVERDALE, Ill. – Authorities in the Chicago area say police are investigating after three bodies and other remains were found in a south suburban garage.

The Cook County medical examiner's office said the remains were found in the garage of a home in Riverdale on Wednesday evening. The medical examiner says the bodies would be examined and autopsied. Ages and genders had not yet been determined.

Illinois State Police said they arrived on the scene after they were called by Riverdale police.
