An elementary school in Wisconsin is being evacuated because of a report of a man with a gun outside the school.

Dane County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Elise Schaffer (SHAY'-fur) says the 911 center received the report about 3 p.m. Wednesday. She says the report has not been confirmed. Sheriff's deputies and a SWAT team are on the scene at Yahara Elementary School in DeForest, about 15 miles north of the state capital of Madison.

Schaffer says the school is being evacuated. She says no one has been hurt.

Authorities don't know who called in the report. The evacuation came just a few days after DeForest public schools were closed over what officials said were "potential threats." Two male students were arrested Friday after that report.
