A suburban Detroit judge who sent three siblings to juvenile detention for failing to meet with their estranged father is sending all four to intensive therapy at a hotel.

It's the latest development in a messy custody dispute in Oakland County. Judge Lisa Gorcyca (GOR'-sa-cuh) says the children — ages 14, 10 and 9 — must participate in therapy over five days with their father when they leave a summer camp. Their mother objected Thursday.

The Detroit Free Press (http://on.freep.com/1TuuWkU ) reports the children will spend 90 days with their father if therapy goes well. The judge in July found the siblings in contempt and sent them to juvenile detention for refusing lunch with their dad.

After widespread publicity, they were released after two weeks and sent to camp.
