ORLANDO, Fla. – A man charged with sexually assaulting a woman outside Walt Disney World's entertainment and restaurant complex has posted bond and been released from jail.
An arrest report released Friday shows that bond was set at $50,000 for 26-year-old Hector Herrera. He posted bond Thursday night, hours after his arrest on a sexual battery charge.
An electronic docket showed no attorney for him, and he didn't answer his phone Friday.
Earlier this week, police said they were investigating a possible sexual assault after a security guard found a woman naked and disoriented a week ago Thursday in shrubbery outside Disney Springs, which used to be known as Downtown Disney.
The woman said she had no recollection of what happened, and that if any sexual activity took place, it wasn't consensual.
