A volunteer coach whose Ohio house was the scene of a party that preceded the 2012 rape of a girl by two high school football players has been sentenced to six months in jail for another probation violation.

Former coach Matt Belardine (BEHL'-ahr-deen) was sentenced Monday in Jefferson County court to 180 days for violating his probation with a drunken driving arrest this month. Judge Patricia Cosgrove denied his request for work release.

It was the 27-year-old's second probation violation. Belardine was sentenced last year to two months after being arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in Arizona.

Belardine had pleaded no contest to one count of making a false statement and one count of enabling underage drinking for his role in the party before the rape.
