The wife of an Ohio National Guardsman who was convicted of sexually abusing three adopted daughters has pleaded guilty to charges of intimidation and obstructing justice.

The 38-year-old Marysville woman entered the pleas Monday in Union County court. She had been charged with intimidation, obstructing justice and tampering with evidence.

The Associated Press isn't naming the couple to protect the children's identities.

The woman entered an Alford plea, meaning she maintained her innocence but acknowledged prosecutors had enough evidence to convict her. She faces up to four years in prison when she is sentenced July 21.

A phone listing for her attorney rang unanswered Monday. The attorney has not previously commented.

Her husband was sentenced last week to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
