New Jersey authorities say a 12-man ring of truck thieves stole $1.5 million in bedding, bicycle parts, perfume, fish oil supplements and other items over three years.

Acting Attorney General John Hoffman said Friday that the group members hail from northern New Jersey and New York. They face charges including conspiracy, money laundering, theft, fencing and burglary.

He says they stole the items from tractor-trailers in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Authorities say the goods were stored at locations including a warehouse in Saddle Brook and a furniture store in Hillside.

Additional goods recovered included $120,000 worth of catalytic converters and more than $23,000 worth of Guinness Stout beer.

The defendants have been indicted and will be arraigned in Bergen County.
