Man uses drone to propose to girlfriend

A California man went high-tech with his wedding proposal by using a drone.

Kevin Dilliard, 27, proposed to his girlfriend of seven years, Courtney Weigand, 25, on Friday in Sunset Cliffs, Fox 5 San Diego reports.

Standing on the cliffs, Dilliard gave his girlfriend first-person view goggles to see what his drone was filming while flying 150 feet above a beach.

“Court will you marry me?” was written in the sand, and Weigand said yes.

Dilliard says he spent two weeks planning out the proposal.
