Several people found dead in suburban Albuquerque home; police aren't releasing number dead

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Police in the Albuquerque suburb of Rio Rancho say they're investigating the deaths of "several" people at a home.

Police aren't saying how many people are dead, releasing how they died or providing other details.

However, police Lt. Paul Rogers said there's no threat to the public and police are investigating.

Rogers says officers called to the home late Wednesday saw the bodies. Emergency medical personnel confirmed the deaths, and police secured the home.

Rogers says search warrants allowed investigators to further search the home.
