Woman, 9-year-old daughter found dead in Massachusetts home; it's not clear how they died

BROCKTON, Mass. – A relative says a Massachusetts woman and her 9-year-old daughter have been found dead in their home.

Jose Rosa told The Enterprise of Brockton (http://bit.ly/1C1pw82 ) that the bodies of his daughter, 29-year-old Ariana Rosa, and his granddaughter Marley Soares were found Friday in their house in Brockton, a suburb about 25 miles south of Boston.

It's not clear how they died. Autopsies are expected to be performed.

Brockton police referred questions to the Plymouth County district attorney's office. A spokesman for the DA's office didn't immediately return a message Friday from The Associated Press.

Jose Rosa tells The Enterprise that he was teaching a driving class when a family friend called and told him to get to his daughter's house immediately.
