A state inspector says she found an obviously decomposing body seeping fluids at a funeral home in suburban Little Rock.

Leslie Stokes represents the Arkansas Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. Stokes said in report produced after a Jan. 12 inspection of Arkansas Funeral Care in Jacksonville that she found the mortuary's cooler was "filled beyond capacity" with bodies stacked on top of each other.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/1JhhIot ) that Stokes says she found several bodies not stored inside the cooler at all, including one that was "in an obvious state of decomposition" with fluids seeping from it.

The board suspended the licenses of the funeral home and its manager on Wednesday.

Pulaski County Coroner Gerone Hobbs says 31 bodies were removed from the funeral home.
