Authorities say the third suspect in a crime spree that led to the deaths of two women in central Florida is now in custody. The search continues for one more suspect.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said during a Friday morning news conference that the bodies of a 72-year-old woman and her 51-year-old daughter were found in a house in Haines City.

The crime spree started in nearby Auburndale on Thursday evening with the robbery of a pawn shop. Four men fled and shot at authorities who pursued them. Their vehicle got stuck in sand and three of the men got away.

A short time later, a resident notified police of suspicious activity at a neighboring house. Officers surrounded the house and the garage opened and a car came barreling toward them. That car got stuck and the driver was arrested. The bodies were found inside the house.
