A video leaked online shows a heated argument between car dealership employees and a pizza delivery man in Massachusetts -- over $7.
According to Boston.com, several employees of F&R Auto Sales ordered about $42 in food from Palace Pizza in Westport last Saturday.
A cook at the restaurant told the website that the dealership employees gave the delivery driver, Jarrid Tansey, $50 -- two twenty-dollar bills and two five-dollar bills.
Tansey said he confirmed with the employees that they intended to give him the entire $50 and that he assumed he received approximately $7 as a tip.
However, a dealership employee called Palace Pizza and demanded Tansey return the $7, Boston.com reported.
"It just doesn't make sense why you'd hand me a bill that you were just gonna have me drive back here to give you back anyway," Tansey said in the video. "I'm not mad, I just had to waste my resources coming back here."
The employees seemed to become angry.
"Get the f---ing owner and the manager on the phone, I want that mother-f---er done," one employee said. "I want him fired."
Adam Willoughby, a manager at Palace Pizza, confirmed to Boston.com the interaction between Tansey and the employees. He said he got a call from the dealership Saturday claiming that Tansey had "verbally berated" the employees.
After speaking with Tansey about the interaction, Willoughby decided not to discipline him.
"This isn't the first time we have had problems with F&R Auto," he told Boston.com, but added that the owner of the dealership apologized in person Wednesday.
"I was the manager on that night, and today they came and spoke to me, profusely apologized," Willoughby told the website. "We both want to make things right between us. We don't want any bad blood."
