HARRISBURG, Pa. – The husband of an Ohio middle school teacher is among those expected to testify at a court hearing about a rock-dropping incident on a stretch of rural interstate in Pennsylvania that left the woman with severe head injuries.
The hearing Tuesday at the county courthouse in Lewisburg involves the case against four teenagers charged as adults.
They're accused of a July 10 crime spree that included dropping a rock onto the car in which 52-year-old Sharon Budd was riding.
Budd's husband, Randy, says there are indications she may be recovering sight in her left eye. He says her ability to communicate is improving.
A prosecutor says Randy Budd is likely to testify for the prosecution. The hearing will determine if there's enough evidence to forward the case to county court for trial.
