Two spectators who became courageous symbols in the aftermath of last year's Boston Marathon bombing are teaming up for a graduation speech.

Jeff Bauman (BOW'-man) lost both legs in the attack. Carlos Arredondo helped save his life. Now good friends, they are speaking together on Saturday at Fisher College in Boston.

Arredondo was passing out American flags when two bombs went off near the finish line, killing three people and injuring more than 260. He ran to Bauman and helped rush him to an ambulance. An Associated Press photograph captured that moment.

Bauman helped authorities identify bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev (TAM'-ehr-luhn tsahr-NEYE'-ehv), killed a few days later in a shootout with police. Tsarnaev's brother Dzhokhar (joh-HAHR' ) awaits trial.

Bauman has learned to walk on prosthetic legs, and is engaged and an expectant father.
