On-duty Phoenix cops caught playing cards inside patrol car

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Police Department says it is conducting an internal investigation into allegations that two on-duty officers were observed playing cards in a patrol car in a downtown parking garage.

Sgt. Trent Crump also says the department has only limited information so far but he says two officers approached their supervisor and have been reassigned until the investigation is complete.

According to Trump, the alleged behavior is unacceptable and embarrassing to the department and its officers.
