A Houston woman fatally shot a city firefighter who lived next door after he allegedly tried to force his way inside her house, MyFoxHouston.com reported.
The 64-year-old woman, who was not identified by police, reportedly shot Samuel Keen, 27, Monday night at around 9 p.m. Witnesses say Keen was celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at a nearby bar. The woman, who lives alone, said she didn’t recognize Keen in the dark.
Keen was a military veteran who served as a firefighter for three years, the report said. He moved into the neighborhood less than a year ago with his wife.
