Michigan woman allegedly bites off part of boyfriend’s ear

Danielle Nebelung, 31, allegedly jumped on her boyfriend’s back and bit his ear, the report said

A Michigan man underwent emergency surgery after police said his girlfriend bit off part of his ear Saturday while the two were having an argument.

MyFoxDetroit reported that Danielle Nebelung, 31, allegedly jumped on her boyfriend’s back and bit his ear in the Macomb Township home. Nebelung reportedly said she bit off her boyfriend's ear while trying to fend him off, and said that she was trying to protect herself from being raped.

Medical personnel were called to the scene and the portion of his ear was located. Doctors were able to reattach his ear, but at this time are still unsure if the surgery will be successful. Nebelung was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault, a misdemeanor.

Her boyfriend is seeking stiffer charges.
