Newlyweds who police say lured a stranger through a Craigslist ad, stabbed him to death and dumped his body in an alley face preliminary hearings.

Separate hearings are slated Friday in the central Pennsylvania city of Sunbury for 22-year-old Elytte Barbour and his 18-year-old wife, Miranda, of Selinsgrove.

They're being held without bail on criminal homicide charges in the Nov. 11 death of 42-year-old Troy LaFerrara of Port Trevorton.

Elytte Barbour told police they killed LaFerrara, who was stabbed 20 times, because they wanted to kill someone together.

The couple, who were married in North Carolina and moved to Pennsylvania during the three weeks leading up to the crime, told police Miranda stabbed LaFerrara in the front seat of her car while her husband held a cord around his neck.
