MINEOLA, N.Y. – Authorities searching for a suspect in a workplace shooting in New York last week report that a body has been found in the Hudson River north of New York City.
A Nassau County police spokeswoman says it was not immediately known whether the body is that of the suspect, 63-year-old Sang Ho Kim.
One person was killed and a second wounded in the shooting Wednesday at a light fixture company in suburban Garden City on Long Island. Police say Kim had a business dispute with officials there.
He fled and his car was later found in upstate Putnam County. State park police said Monday that a body was found near a bridge near the edge of the county.
The body was taken to the medical examiner in nearby Rockland County for identification.
