100 Club of Arizona launches memorial fund for wildfire victims

The 100 Club of Arizona is starting a memorial fund for the 18 elite Hotshots firefighters and one other person who were killed in the Yarnell blaze on Sunday.

The organization says its mission is “to provide immediate financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty.”

Money donated will be placed into a survivors' fund that goes directly to families, Ashley Slechta, the 100 Club of Arizona’s events and programs manager, told Fox 10.
