New York City police officers are involved in a standoff with a potential suspect in the 2010 killing of a college student.

The New York Post reports (http://bit.ly/11vDYlU ) that a police warrant squad went to arrest the man at his home in Chinatown on Wednesday morning. But police tell the Post that the man barricaded himself inside the apartment shortly before 8 a.m.

Some news media reports say the man is holding at least one hostage.

The Post says the barricaded man is facing possible indictment in the death of Pace University student Max Moreno in September 2010.
