SAN JOSE, Calif. – Police say a 50-year-old man died three days after suffering a heart attack during a physical fight with his daughter, and the teenage girl has been booked on suspicion of manslaughter.
The San Jose Mercury News reports the man, Hoang Tran, was shoved to the ground during the altercation at his home April 6.
Responding paramedics found him unresponsive. He died April 9 at a hospital.
On Friday, Tran's 17-year-old daughter was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter.
Her name has not been released.
