A teenage driver is in critical condition after he crashed his car in Colorado while trying to do stunts, killing a passenger in the process.

Aurora Police spokesperson Chuck DeShazer told Fox 31 that four teenagers under the age of 17 were inside the vehicle Sunday night while the driver was practicing “j-turns,” which involve trying to turn the car 180 degrees using the emergency brake.

The driver slammed into an unoccupied mobile home during one of the maneuvers. Two of the passengers suffered non-life threatening injuries, while the other passenger died after arriving at the hospital.

Police have yet to release the names of the teenagers. The driver could face criminal charges as a result of the death, Fox 31 reports.
