PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Gas prices in Rhode Island are continuing their climb, this time with a six-cent hike from last week.
AAA Southern New England said Monday the average cost of a gallon of regular unleaded in the Ocean State is $3.81.
Gas prices locally are up 19 cents in the past month.
The local price is nine cents higher than the national average of $3.72 a gallon.
The average cost of gas a year ago in Rhode Island was $3.73.
