NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – A Florida mother was arrested after admitting to police she left her three children home alone so she could go have sex with her neighbor.
Local affiliate ABC Action News reports the Crystal Rusaw's children, who range in ages four years to ten months, wandered from the house, up the street, and crossed a busy highway. A woman driving by stopped and rescued them.
Rusaw admitted to authorities she left the kids to go to a neighbor's house for sex, and then fell asleep.
She was arrested but has been released on bond. Neighbors say her kids, who are now staying with a relative, were often playing outside seemingly unsupervised.
"I just see toys, and little kids always running and walking, and riding bicycles unsupervised down the street," William Gray told ABC Action News.
