HOUSTON – Police in Houston were searching Saturday for a gunman who shot and killed a man during a volleyball game.
About 40 people were playing Friday night at a court near a grocery store, KTRK-TV reported.
Cesareo Herrera, 36, and another man got into a fight. The second man, who has not yet been identified, pulled out a gun and fatally shot Herrera, police said.
The gunman, who has not yet been arrested, fled the scene.
Most of the witnesses to the shooting left the scene before police arrived, according to KTRK.
