Three people were shot dead and another two injured during an early morning shooting outside a strip club in southwest Houston, police said.

Police spokesman Victor Senties had no details about what sparked the shooting soon after 3 a.m. outside the Scores Cabaret strip club located in a shopping center.

Senties says two men and a woman died at the scene and two men have been taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds. He had no information about their conditions. MyFoxHouston.com listed Trae Tha Truth, a rap singer, as one of those injured.

Senties says no one has been taken into custody.

KTRK TV reports that witnesses said more than 20 shots were fired in the parking lot of Scores Cabaret strip club. Senties did not name the club but he provided a street address for the shooting that is the same as the address for Scores Cabaret.

Gerald Law, 60, told The Houston Chronicle that his son was one of the victims in the gunfire.
“I just have to deal with it day by day,” he told the paper.

Investigators told the paper that the shooting may be related to a Father’s Day domestic dispute.
