Authorities in southern Utah have identified four Las Vegas men who were killed in a plane crash this week near Zion National Park.

Kane County Emergency Manager Alan Alldredge says the dead were 31-year-old pilot Joshua Stubblefield; 44-year-old Chris Spircu; 32-year-old Paul Andrews; and 45-year-old Todd Stuntzner.

The aircraft left North Las Vegas Airport headed for Utah's Bryce Canyon National Park on Tuesday morning. Officials say the company that owns the plane reported it missing when it didn't arrive at Bryce.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash, which happened about 3 p.m. Tuesday in a remote area about 18 miles north of Zion.

The crash comes less than a week after another plane crashed in southern Utah, killing four near the St. George Municipal Airport.
