A judge has ordered five men to stand trial in the slayings of two Detroit-area women who were taken at gunpoint.

Judge Paul Paruk made his ruling in Hamtramck District Court on Friday following a lengthy preliminary examination.

Eighteen-year-old Abreeya Brown and 22-year-old Ashley Conaway were forced into a car trunk outside their Hamtramck home in February.

Their bodies were discovered in March in shallow graves in a Detroit park. The women were bound and shot in the head.

The case against Brandon Cain, Miguel Rodriguez, Brian Lee, Reginald Brown and Jeremy Brown now moves to Wayne County Circuit Court. The men will be arraigned there June 1.

Lee's lawyer, Arnold Reed, says there's "no evidence on my client whatsoever."
