LONGMONT, Colo. – Two small planes have crashed about six miles apart north of Denver near Longmont, but it's not immediately clear if they're related.
There doesn't appear to be any survivors from at least one of the accidents.
One plane went down near a small airport outside the city and the other crashed near a Walmart near a major intersection in Longmont.
Authorities say that plane was so badly damaged they couldn't tell what kind of airplane it was.
The deputy chief of the Mountain View Fire District says said there was likely no chance of survival for anyone onboard.
A witness who says he saw the plane before it crashed near Walmart told KUSA-TV that it was missing a wing and appeared to be a Cessna 172.
