Schools across New England, including three in Connecticut, have reportedly received envelopes containing white powder.

In each case, according to CTNow.com, the arrival of the envelope has disrupted class and prompted responses by fire and police officials. No injuries have been reported and FBI officials continue to investigate.

Two Massachusetts schools -- Dedham Middle School and Memorial Elementary School in Milford -- received letters postmarked from "North Texas, TX." Similar letters also arrived at schools in Warwick, R.I., Fort Kent, Maine and Goffstown, N.H., the website reports.

Envelopes also arrived at John F. Kennedy Middle School in Enfield on Monday, and at Anna Reynolds School in Newington and Island Avenue School in Madison on Wednesday.
