Police in Texas are hunting a pair of thieves who stole cookie money from a group of Girl Scouts on Saturday, and then hit one of them with their vehicle as they made their escape.

The Girl Scouts were selling cookies Saturday afternoon outside a Walmart store in Richmond, about 34 miles southwest of Houston, KHOU-TV reported.

At around 1:50pm, a man walked up to the girls, grabbed a money box from their table and ran to a waiting getaway car, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said.

A 15-year-old Girl Scout ran after the car, which brushed her. She was knocked to the ground and bruised both of her knees.

The two suspects are still at large, according to KHOU.

The girl who was brushed by the car was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
