Cops issued an arrest warrant for the suspected killer of rapper Slim Dunkin who was shot dead at an Atlanta music studio exactly a week ago.

The Atlanta Police Homicide Unit are urging suspect Vinson Hardimon, a 28-year-old rapper known as Young Vito, to turn himself in as they have "reason to believe he may be in danger," WAGA-TV reported.

Dunkin, whose real name was Mario Hamilton, was shot and killed outside an Atlanta music studio, where he was shooting a music video, last Friday.

It is thought he became involved in "a verbal altercation" with another individual who then shot him, Atlanta Police Department spokesman Maj. Keith Meadows said.

A source on the scene said the rapper and the suspect were allegedly arguing over a piece of candy.

His funeral will take place at the Berean Christian Church, Atlanta at 11:00 a.m. local time Friday.

Fellow Atlanta rappers Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane will foot most of the bill for a lavish funeral for Dunkin, TMZ reported Thursday.

They are paying for a white horse drawn carriage, a dove release ceremony and huge floral arrangements, a rep for the rappers told the gossip site.
